The firm’s analysts claims that Nokia and Motorola are finally getting their acts together and have come out with formidable mobile email devices.

I explicitly checked with Katrina… this time, it’s a true magnesium case Palm hard cases made of metal always were built out of aluminum so far - Proporta now offers magnesium cases from InnoPocket for selected mobile devices like my Treo 600. While the weight loss doesn’t really affect me, this is still one of the best(and coolest) cases I ever reviewed…

Much has changed in the last two years in my life… thanks also to TamsPalm readers and Tamoggemon Customers! However, one thing has stayed constant: my PDA. My trusty Tungsten T3 served me well and honestly… but now, the Palm Treo 600 has replaced it as my first PDA. Let’s look at why I changed.
Basically, I changed because of lack of pockets.

Major mobile email company, Visto Corp, just landed a tidy sum. What can I say, it’s a mobile world, folks.
NEW YORK - Visto Corp., a major provider of mobile e-mail services but better known for its patent infringement suits against BlackBerry and other rivals, said Wednesday it has raised $51 million in new funding and added AOL’s former top executive to the company’s board of directors.
The new round of investment, led by Oak Investment Partners with new investor DFJ Growth Fund, brings the total venture capital raised by Visto to $186 million….

Is the US lagging behind in the mobile banking realm? I’d say these numbers outside of the the US speak for themselves.
According to The National Bank of Kazakhstan, their 100-thousandth client registered in their mobile banking system on 14 September 2006.

Mobile ads are a tough sale I think. But in the end, I think that it comes down to a combination of presentation and content.

Leather cases were considered the ’suit version’ of aluminum hard cases for a long time - has changed that. But let’s see how the case fares in a review:
Proporta’s case ships in a classic blister for leather cases. A belt clip is contained, too.
The case itself looks cool, although the leather looks a bit beaten up after unpacking.
Inserting the Treo 600 into the case isn’t easy - you need to press the machine in firmly.
